This beautiful log cabin in Lockett Ranches was in need of some modernization and a kitchen upgrade. Like many homes in Flagstaff, the spaces were closed in with many unnecessary walls, making the space feel squeezed in and busy. The homeowners’ goal was to take advantage of the natural light and beautiful views surrounding the property.

We were able to work with our client to provide a design to open the space and update the finishes throughout. The existing log details inside and out were a special feature of the home that we worked hard to preserve the integrity of wherever possible.

This presented difficulties when adding and moving doors and windows, but our team was up to the challenge, delivering a beautiful final result that tied in seamlessly with the existing logs. The whole home came together to have both a modern touch and the classic mountain town charm.
