Aside from being a dedicated father, husband, and employer, Evan is a third-generation home builder. He grew up under the tutelage of his father, who taught him about construction and the importance of integrity in business and life in general. Evan’s upbringing in the construction industry has provided him with valuable experience useful to an industry professional.
Though his grandfather and father advised him to “get an education, so you don’t end up in construction,” Evan’s passion for building led him to carry on his dad’s legacy and mission to make construction a better industry.

Their relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors and their professionalism resulted in a one-of-a-kind home that is above and beyond any other residential construction as far as quality, energy efficiency, comfort and durability. Utilizing a high-tech (ceramic/elastomeric) exterior over foam core construction and steel framing, as well as solar panels, this occupied home is consuming virtually no electrical energy off of the grid and very little natural gas, even now in the dead of winter. High Caliber provided excellent communication and a quality building system, and I highly recommend them.

We hired High Caliber Construction to work on our newly acquired home based on a recommendation, giving them very high marks, and they lived up to them. We started with a bid - they showed up as promised, were very professional and pleasant ( a requirement of ours), and the bid showed up when promised. They did the work on the exact day scheduled, finished on time, and left the house looking better than it did before they started. On the basis of that project, we hired for another project, which went as perfectly as the first.

It is family owned and operated, and their clients soon feel like family as well. We hired them to build our 4800 sq. ft. home here in Flagstaff and they did an outstanding job! We designed the house ourselves, so while we had a set of plans from a draftsman, we did not have a full set of architectural plans. High Caliber had no problem in seeing what we wanted/needed and were very proactive in recommending any changes, alternatives or enhancements as needed. Their whole team was very professional, pleasant and it was a privilege to work with them and we would hire them again in a heart beat. The house was finished on schedule and under budget and we love it.

We selected High Caliber to do our home remodel. The project was extensive, and our home was transformed into something you would see in a magazine. They stayed true to the bid and finished the project on-time. They take pride in their work and do all the little things that put them ahead of their competition. 1.) Their crew always showed up on time every day and worked very hard. 2.) During the demo phase, they cleaned up at the end of every day. 3.) They required the subs come back to redo things that were not to their level without us knowing. 4.) They communicated with us almost daily through the 10-week project. 5.) They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They never treated us as an inconvenience and took the time to answer the many questions we had from start to finish. They worked with our ideas and gave us great insight of how we can capitalize on our vision to make it better. They advocated for us to give us exactly what we paid for and then some. We felt we were part of the team, and they were absolutely enjoyable to work with. As you can tell, we are thrilled. 5- Stars in not enough for them.

High Caliber Construction has lived up to their mission of true service and quality construction/renovations. We have had several dealings with them and felt blessed each time. We first sought them for counsel on our first home we purchased, and Evan was very helpful navigating this big decision. We also dreamed about an addition to our home and, though we were not able to move forward yet, were blessed by Evan's effective and clear communication about what this would be like helping us make a very informed decision. We have most recently worked with Eduyn, who went above and beyond to serve us, both by getting our house ready to rent (in a hurry) and connecting us with other people in town who would serve us best with the work needed to be done.
